about

It's 2019 and still the hardcore and punk scene is clearly male dominated in. On a large as well as on a small scale enough guys always contribute by their shitty behavior to keep it that way. Unfortunately, there are too few bands in which FLTI*-people are involved which can act as role models in the scene. And it's damn striking that the women* involved are often treated with a lack of respect and an unpleasant climate is created. But the fact is: Hardcore should be fucking not just boys fun, but unfortunately it is much too frequent. We all have to work on making more FLTI*-people feel empowered to play in bands or to start shows them-selves. And when the lyrics ask us to reflect our own social privileges, we as a band of four white hetero-cis-dudes don't take ourselves out of it but are aware that also we still have a lot to do in this field.

lyrics

when it's said that hardcore's more than music
it's definetly not meant your shitty behaviour

macho tough guys – rule them out!
elitist male associations – shut them all down!
we don't need no unity as long as it's like this to be

keep tapping your shoulders, show off your bare paunchs
keep on hurting people, keep harassing around
or just rethink your social place 'cause this used to be a safe space
maybe you're too cool for us - well, fuck you then
fuck you then!

keep tapping your shoulders, show off your bare paunchs
keep on hurting people, keep harassing around
or just rethink your social place 'cause this used to be a safe space
there's a thing called privilege, we urge you to consider it
